Bonz
“Train” Game
Learning Rules
Start
Play: Turn bonz face down, draw 7 bonz, highest double
decides first play. Start by asking who has double sixes, double
five, etc…. Play continues clockwise, matching up the ends
to matching bonz dots. A player goes out by playing all of his bonz
first. This ends the hand. New shuffle, draw 7 and start rotation
beginning left of the person who went first to start game. They
may play any bone in their hand.
Spinner:
The first double played each hand becomes a spinner. This is the
only double that hand to be played four ways on. This creates four
legs to be played on.
Draws:
Each player will play or draw until they can play. If bone pile
runs out – pass.
Object
of Play: The player who goes out first, adds all opponents
remaining Bonz points, round up 5-10 scale. 100 points wins at the
end of a hand. Must be 10 points ahead or another hand must be played.
When a hand locks up, the last player to have played, receives points.

Playing Rules
Adding
Bonz Objectives: Bonz Dominoes plays like Bonz Train except
adding the very end numbers of each leg. When multiples of 5, 10,
15, 20 etc are added, the player receives that score. The player
who goes out first adds all opponents remaining Bonz points, round
up 5-10 scale. 100 points wins at the end of a hand. Must be 10
points ahead or another hand must be played. When a hand locks up,
the last player to have played receives points.
Spinner:
The first double that comes up is the spinner for that hand. This
allows four legs to be played on. The other double can be played
two different ways. Turned straight and count only end dots, turned
sideways, count total dots.
Draws:
Different draws for train and Bonz. The game of Bonz is played by
making a play or drawing, one draw per play. If the bone plays then
the play is allowed. If the Bone doesn’t play, then they must
pass.
Advanced
Play: Bonz advance players lose their points If not claimed
when played. The player who calls “Bonz” receives the
point.
